Meeting Stephen Fromme was such a timely streak of good fortune. I had the pleasure of speaking to Stephen just when I really needed him- amidst a crisis with my mother's sudden decline in health. Stephen answered the phone the day that I called him and met with my husband and me the next day- which happened to be a weekend. He spent an hour and half listening to our concerns and came up with an immediate plan. In three days, I was touring assisted living facilities based on my mother's needs, and we closed on a wonderful choice the next day. Stephen also referred me to a mover to assist with the moving of my mother's furniture, which was fortuitous, since most moving companies were booked solid during the month of August. I can say without hesitation, that if it were not for the experienced assistance from Stephen, I question how I would have weathered though this crisis. Knowing that Stephen was literally walking me through each step of the process gave me a sense of relief and hope to forge through a difficult situation on the life cycle: making the best decision possible for one's aging parent.
